Cinnamon Sugared Pecans

Cinnamon Sugared Pecans are super easy to make. The kids can help with this recipe. Make these ahead of time and store in an airtight container.

 

Cinnamon Sugared Pecans

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 250º.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk egg white, water and vanilla until frothy. In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, cinnamon, ground cloves, ground nutmeg and salt. Add pecans to egg white mixture and toss until evenly coated. Pour half of the sugar mixture over pecans and toss. Add remaining sugar mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Pour coated pecans over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Allow to cool then store in an airtight container.
