Eggnog French Toast makes the perfect December breakfast. Serve with your favorite fruit if desired.
Eggnog French Toast

- 1 1/2 cups eggnog
- 5 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. rum extract
- 12 slices French bread
- Powdered sugar, syrup and whipped cream for serving
- Preheat an electric griddle to 350º.
- In a mixing bowl whisk together eggnog, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and rum extract until combined. Pour mixture into a 7 x 11-inch baking dish.
- Dip bread into mixture, 2 slices at a time. Rotate and coat opposite side. Transfer to greased griddle and cook until bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook opposite side until golden brown. Top with powdered sugar, syrup and a dollop of whipped cream.
