Pepperoni Roll

Penguin Pepperoni Roll
  • 1 package prepared dough
  • 1/2 Tbsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 lb. sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Crisco butter flavor all-vegetable shortening
  1. Preheat oven to 350º.
  2. Roll dough on a lightly greased, large baking sheet. Sprinkle with basil, onion powder, garlic powder and oregano. Layer with pepperoni and top with cheese. Roll dough to seal edges. Spread a layer of shortening overtop.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut into bite sized pieces to serve.
