The kids will love these and they are much easier than making home made pizza. Plus you can customize each one to fit individual tastes.
8 flour tortillas
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
6 oz. sliced pepperoni
1 (16 oz.) jar of pizza sauce
sliced olives, tomatoes, sausage, onions or other toppings of your choice
butter for pan
Brush each tortilla with a thin layer of pizza sauce.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce on four of the tortillas.Top with pepperoni and other toppings, if desired. Sprinkle with more cheese and place the other tortilla on top.
Preheat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add a little butter if desired and melt. Gently place quesadilla in the pan and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until cheese is melted and tortillas are crispy. Slice into quarters and serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
